this organisation has been devoting to various dramas/theatres in particular and social awareness in general. At the national lavel, "Dasharupak" believes in the idea that the "drama / theatre" is the most democratic forms of all performing arts and this is the only device to send message to the people at large. "Dasharupak" mostly experiment in different forms of dramas / theatres based on linguistics dialects and the local issues which are pragmatic in nature and touch the fagrance of soil.

Sumit Srivastava is Pursuing Ph.D in Theatre and Television
Department Of Punjabi University Patiyala. Born in December 1987, Sumit
Srivastava started his theatre carrier at the age of 10, from the play “Kabira Khada Bazar Main” under the able guidance of Neel Kamal Chatarjee’. He showed different shades of different characters in at least 25 plays. At the age of 13, he got best Actor award from Gokul Arts Varanasi and many more in different theatre festivals. At the age of 19, he directed his first play “Asmita ka Prashna” Written by Pratima Sinha' and afterwards he directed Plays like “Dhuwa”, “Passport”, “Bade Bhai Sahab”, “Janta Paagal ho Gai Hai”, “Sati” and many more.
He has been in theatre from last 20 years and has worked with eminent Theatre

After completing his B. Drama in 2008 from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth
University, Varanasi, he went to Deptt. Of Theatre and T.V. Punjabi University Patiala to complete his Masters in Theatre. Then he came back to Varanasi and directed plays like “Andhayug”, “Gagan Damama Bajyo”, “Gajab Ki Hamri Kashi”, “Space”, “Aena”, “Tathagat”, “Coras”, “Suno Amrapali”, “Awaruddh”, “Cheri Ka
